Inspired by the herdsmen cheesemakers of the Iberian Peninsula, our Mediterranean-style Feta is a drier, stronger version of the traditional Greek Classic Feta. It plates very well, holding its form for a beautiful presentation at any party or gathering. The salty, tangy flavor is a natural companion for salads, omelets and pizzas. We like our Feta topped with an olive tapenade!

Whipped Feta

Makes: 8 servings
Working Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

  • 1 (8-ounce) container feta, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons sourcream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for serving
    Freshly ground black pepper
  1. Process feta, sour cream and oil in a food processor until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute. Season with pepper.
  2. Serve topped with oil and pepper.

In order to protect the integrity of our cheeses, there may be an additional $12 charge when shipping to warmer regions of the country.
